Where: COMMUNITY CENTER, 1:00 TO 3:00 PM
Cost: (all you can eat)
Adults: $9.00
Children: $5.00
Children 5 and under Free
The Fishing Club is looking for wild game donations, if you would like to donate some fish, fowl or other wild game, call John Bugg at 741-8359.
The next monthly meeting of the Fishing Club will be held on February 2, 2009 at the Community Center at 7 P.M.
Now would be a great time to pay your 2009 Club dues. The annual membership dues are $15.00. We need your support to continue our stocking program. Please use the form below so we can update our address book

FISHING SUNDAY FEB,15,2009
WENT FISHING FOR AROUND 3 HOURS FROM 1:00 TO 4:00 PM CAUGHT 5 BASS ON STICK BAITS THE BIGGEST WAS PROBABLY 5 POUNDS .THE LAKE WAS A LITTLE STAINED AND THE WATER TEMPATURE WAS RIGHT AT 40 DEGREES MY NEPHEW JOINED ME FOR THE LAST HOUR . WASN`T TO BAD IF YOU COULD STAY OUT OF THE WIND .....THE FIRST WARM CALM DAY THE FISH WILL BE BOMBING THE STICK BAITS IF IT IS SUNNY .....LUCKY CRAFT HAS BEEN A WASTE CAUGHT ALL MY FISH ON HUSKY JERKS ....SEE YOU ON THE LAKE

Riss lake event
8:45pm Guest Speaker: Jake Allman, MO Department of Conservation Fisheries Biologist. Jake will give a brief talk about managing small waters. He has been advising us with the management of Riss Lake to improve fishing conditions.

We seek to encourage the preservation and enjoyment of Riss Lake by all members of our community. To provide opportunities for families and individuals to participate in events which promote the long-term health of our lake. To give children and adults an opportunity to learn about fishing and meet others who enjoy the sport.

I got a call from Larry Charmbers at Riss Lake fishing club and he said that they are having
a kick off dinner with a speaker on February 24 at the PAC Center. Time is 6:30 to 9:30.
They will have a featured speaker.
Dinner includes ribs, brisket, baked beans, slaw, etc. Weatherby Lake fishing club cost is $10.00 to help offset their cost.
Larry is supposed to call me back sometime and give me the name of the speaker.
Weatherby Lake fishing club members are welcome to attend.

Fishing Sunday Feb 8,2009
the ice opened up enough today to get the boat onto the lake ....it sure wasnt 70 like it was yesterday ....went with Mike Boultinghouse ....We managed to catch 4 bass in arouund 1 1/2 hours .....was underdressed .....saturday would have been the day but ice blocked the boat ramps......see you on the lake
